Chances of post-MBA finance / consulting after UK army officer?
Hey everyone,
New to posting, and looking for some advice - please let me know if I should post this in another thread.
I'm trying to gauge my suitability / attractiveness for going into corporate finance (tier 1/2 banking or consulting at Associate / Manager level post-MBA)
I went to RMAS after uni for the excitement of being a young officer, leading troops, and exploring the world, and decided to leave after 5 years to go find stability in civvie life. Pre army, I did 4x finance / consulting internships, and managed to pass L1+L2 CFA on the side up until this point. So I'm thinking from an experience and certification POV, I've done as much as I can to show interest and set myself up.
Using veterans pathways etc, am I in a good position to break into the sector?
Please also let me know if I should change anything on my CV as well, I've tried to convert the military terminology to civvie understanding
Thanks!
