Clash of the MSFs, Georgetown vs Nova

Applied super last minute to nova and was accepted. Have applied to Vandy (rejected before my LoRs were even submitted RIP), Booth (still in contention). Currently applying to GTown with pretty high chance of acceptance + scholarship according to their admission advisor.

Booth is clear #1 if I get in. That's my "management case". Need to determine which between Gtown and Nova are flat and down case.

GTown has brand name and 2 year timeline on its side (allows for internship), but the program is blended online (I have the option to go in person but don't know if others will do the same or if employers will value the program less)

Nova has a solid network and good location, but brand name is weaker than GTown and does not allow for internship.

Let's hear the arguments

Chicago's program is new, this will be the first cohort. My main concern with the gtown program is its online component

I’d be more concerned about being a part of the first cohort than being online imo. While I agree that there could be slightly weaker networking opportunities with a hybrid program, you have thousands of MSF alumni at GTown/Nova compared to 0 at UChicago. Also, it’s unlikely that employers dig into the granular details of the program’s structure and subsequently “value it less”.

Georgetown will almost certainly place better, the 2 year timeline and internship summer really makes a difference and the program has a stronger network.

Villanova is a decent undergraduate program with a decent network, but the MSF does not place as well. People who do place well from there typically had summer internships between Senior Year and the MSF

If you get a lot of financial aid + scholarship at Villanova or Georgetown, then these might be worth it, but if not, expect to pay $60k+.

I am leaning towards gtown, but the online aspect is giving me doubts. Plus, I have m&a internship experience, just need the msf for the brand name, network and gpa.

Did they say how much scholarship $ you will get from GT? Also are you international?

Heard that Georgetown doesnt give F1 visas international students, is that true? Heavily considering as a Canadian but was wary after hearing that
