Get shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt or some similar brand. Most of mine are white or light blue.

You probably won't really be wearing suits but good to at least have one (if you don't already). I really like Suit Supply.

Get at least 2-3 pairs of slacks. Can't go wrong with navy. Charcoal gray is also good. You might be able to swing chinos if they aren't some pastel shade.

I got Allen Edmonds shoes before my internship. Some people have said their quality has declined a bit but they've held up pretty well for me. You can get potentially get something cheaper / more comfortable. I own a pair of Cole Haans, which sort of look like a cross between a dress shoe and a sneaker.

Have 1-2 belts. Should match your shoe color (preferably black or brown). Could maybe do burgundy although I'm personally not a huge fan.

SF gets cold, even in the summer. Get 1-2 sweaters and maybe a light jacket.
