Communications Books or Courses

Hoping for people to list their favorite communications books. I didn't do an MBA, but I'm entering the point of my career where I am being judged much more on the qualitative aspects of my style and work versus technical competence.

Things I want to be better at are:

  • Sales; selling my ideas internally to be more influential and selling the firm externally to win business
  • Being polished; the ability to build confidence in people when I'm speaking to executives at my firm or very serious investors
  • Curating a positive and well known brand so that if a promotion opportunity opens up I will naturally be seen as "that guy" to fill it
  • Enjoying business socializing more - I am a bit of an introvert, and talking to people I don't know very well can be pretty draining frankly
