Cox business school (undergrad)

Hey,I was accepted into cox and wanted to get some opinions. I know the school is very strong in DFW but outside of Texas not many have heard of it. I also understand that the "alts" program is a target and not getting into that program will make is substantially harder. I don't care about going to NYC (not my type of place) and am fine working in Dallas/Houston. I would major in finance and minor in Econ. I wanted to minor in accounting but they don't offer that as a minor. I’m not quite sure what a good minor would be other than those two. I could do cs but don’t want too.

So what are your guy's thoughts on the school?

It’s good. Ideally would want Alts to move to IB. And is big Greek school with a lot of cash around the school and their alumni want the school to place well. Just need to be one of the top finance students in your class and network. Considered the school closely but didn’t go as I wasn’t as interested in Greek life and how big a deal it is down there.

Yeah I’m not interested in Greek life either but its the best option for me at the moment. I’ll try to place into alts but if I don’t do you think there is still a chance?
