Deferred MBA Advice

Need some advice about getting an MBA but applying on the deferred track. Currently on track to graduate this upcoming spring with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Unfortunately I have a below average GPA (3.0 - 3.25). However, I have a job lined up in a Leadership Development Program at a F50 manufacturing company. I can get strong recommendations, and I have strong previous internships. I interview well if it comes to that and I have a very compelling essay. Although I do not have a solid idea on what I want to do post mba. I want to get out of engineering and go down then PE/VC route, if not the backup is to do high-level ops at the current company. Anyone please help and please give any advice. I appreciate all who can help. Thanks.
