Deferred MBA H/W/S? Would my candidacy just be like everyone else?

Hello folks,

If you guys don't mind telling me whether or not I stand a chance at being competitive in a deferred MBA program at H/W/S would appreciate it. Any other relative advice is also helpful.

Stats:

Where I'm at: Senior at a respected university (non ivy) with a top 10 undergrad business program

Extracurriculars: Member of a varsity team sport, fraternity, VC club, and leadership position in an IB club

GPA: 3.94

GMAT: Taking in spring

Experience: 3 IB internships. Full-time next year in a leading coverage group at a top BB (GS, JPM, MS)

Race: South Asian/East Asian

Thanks in advance.

I’m at H/S (not that that means I have an idea into the admissions exactly). My understanding is that the main pitch for deferred programs is that the deferral allows you to take a risk that you otherwise wouldn’t if you were focused on following the cookie cutter MBA path. So for these programs, people with unique backgrounds who want to do unique things are the prime candidates. Your profile looks like a very traditional candidate. That said, there’s zero harm in applying
