I’m so tired of seeing these “am I fucked” posts. Grow some fucking balls and make this experience what you make of it. You’ve decided to do an MSF, that’s done now. Go work your ass off, now, get good grades, network and do the best you can and stop being a pussy. Life is what you make of it and by thinking you’re fucked before you even start you will be fucked.

Exactly! Too many people discount themselves before they even try.

"I didn't go to a target school, should I only try to get into boutiques or MM and not bother with BB?"

"I only have x.x GPA, should I even apply"

"I didn't land an internship/get a return offer, should I even bother applying for full time roles?"

And the list goes on. The thing I always try to tell these folks is the worst they can say is no, so put your best foot forward and try anyway.

If you need to ask this question then YOU are probably fucked. The others who are confident and will try at all costs will succeed.

It will be hard. But you will be okay. Unless you are taking a loan which I encourage you to rethink about the MSF. Although Vandy MSF does have a decent placement rate, but the market, like you said, is too harsh at the moment.
