Directions for exchange at Master level- EBS Msc in Finance

Hi everyone,

The program requires students to take an exchange semester, and I would like to know how this semester will weigh on my resume. What should I look for when I choose where to spend the semester? I am guessing it is more about exposure to different culture/country than the prestige of the school and the classes I take over there?

Opting for culture exposure, since I come from Taiwan, would an experience in emerging market region still be more desirable than one in developed countries? If so, I am split between Chinese-English speaking regions e.g. Singapore, China or HK for networking's sake as I might as well end up in these regions (top tier schools there are on the list for exchange) if I fail to secure a corporate finance job in Europe as planned, or Latin America countries to further my Spanish skill, which is close to but not yet fluently enough for busniess conversations. (I believe a semester in Spanish speaking country will suffice for that matter, hence increasing my employability in Europe.)

Opting for school prestige, it appears that top tier US/UK schools are not on the list available for Msc students. However, there are a few good European schools (according to FT ranking) on the list such as French EDHEC, Swiss HEC Lausanne. If you think school matters more, or more experience in European countries should add more advantage to my resume in terms of getting a job in Europe, I will focus on these schools.

In addition, I can do an internship in the country where I study the semester, so that might be a consideration as well.

A little background info about myself:

Big 4 auditor for 2 years (Taiwan)

Speak Mandarin (native)/ English (iBT 115) / Spanish (B1 level)

Nationality: TAIWAN

Any input is very much appreciated! Have a nice day everyone.
