Do I stand a chance for an MSFE admit in any of these Programs?

Hi, I am new to the world of finance and my profile is :

Indian Female GMAT: 660 (Q49) TOEFL: 115 GPA : got 68% in Electrical & electronics Engineering (the topper was 78%) Work Exp: 2.5 yrs in automobile manufacturing (Supply Chain Mgmt dept)

I am applying for an MS in Fin (Quant oriented) for Fall 2012. I have applied to the following schools: SUNY Buffalo,MSF FE track Boston Univ, MSMF Georgia Tech, QCF Rutgers, MQF IIT, Chicago, MSF, UIUC, MSFE Washington Univ, St L, MSF

I just got a rejection from SUNY Buffalo which was supposed to be my safe school. Also got a reject frm BU. It has got me worried that I'll face similar results with others. Can someone please evaluate my profile and let me know if I need to apply to some other safe schools?? I was considering UTD.

thanks a ton

^^ i only ask about the GMAT because, generally speaking, a 700 is usually enough to get you into the nation's top programs... and the above programs are NOT cream of the crop. usually the GMAT bar for females is a little lower, so to me a 660 doesn't seem out of range.

Money Never Sleeps? More like Money Never SUCKS amirite?!?!?!?

So a 3.5 ENGR w. a 660 GMAT isn't enough to get into SUNY Buffalo? am I missing something because that program doesn't seem this competitive to me. Is it because she is an international student?

EDIT:

How the fuck did Buffalo reject you? Then again, this town is known for stupid shit. Your scores are literally higher than half the people here.

in it 2 win it

MSFE programs are getting too damn competitive. too many applicants for only so many seats. Even the "lower tier" programs are full of people with excellent backgrounds.

I am under no delusion that my GMAT scores are freaking high..... but I did not have time to retake it and i wanted to apply this Fall..... and like sayandarula says...these are not Tier 1 programs that I am applying to....i know my limitations coz of the GMAT score..... my GPA isnt that bad although.... 68% is First division....n above 75% makes an Honors degree in India.....

I only thought i stand a better chance because most of the applications from India are males working in IT..... and i am working for an automobile manufacturing MNC in India(one of the leading ones at that)....

plus i was in the Supply chain management..... have experience in sourcing, pricing, negotiation and procurement even if not directly in finance.....plus a female in a car manufacturing is a minority group... n coz of all this i thought i stood a good chance.....

Apparently the admission committee doesnt think so..... guess they really dont want that diverse student body that everyone talks about on their website.... only people who are freaking geniuses at giving the GMAT.....

methebest don't worry, wait on responses from other Universities. I wager the standards are high for international students but have a hard time believing you can't get into one of the universities listed above, your GMAT may not be high but it's also not low. While it is surprising that SUNY did not admit you since it is the lowest tier school of the list above, understand that admissions also come with subjectivity. We can look at averages and statistics all we want, but must understand that there are always outliers. Kids with average SAT scores sometimes get admittance to Harvard, and kids with perfect SAT scores sometimes get rejected.
