Emory MS in Finance program

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any color on the MS Finance program at Emory Goizueta in terms of reputation, employability, and placement? Saw that their employment report said 100% placement rate, but not sure about where the graduates have ended up. Would appreciate any insights on this program. Thanks!

As someone who has done an MSF at a Georgetown/SMU/Emory/WashU, I would only suggest the MSF if you need to rerecruit. Most offers I saw out of the MSF were either through heavy networking/alumni or due to having a few IB internships already. Most people got MM/Regional Banks if they didn’t have an “in” to a BB/EB

Edit: Also will add, many employment reports with show GS/MS/JPM, but the positions are back office or not actual IB. I’ve seen many programs do this, I’d recommend going on LinkedIn and see where alumni are actually at

I’d say for the South/Southeast it is behind Vanderbilt and about equal to SMU. If you want to end up in Charlotte or Atlanta I’d say that were they would place

Thanks! I guess Emory, and the MS in Finance program in particular, is considered as a semi-target in the US?
