Engineering to MBA to Project Finance?
I have analytics and software engineering experience. Now, I am planning to do MBA from Cornell Johnson. Post-MBA, I would like to go into infrastructure asset investing/project finance. Someone told me that since i don't have financial industry experience, so it would be tough to get a job in infra-based PE or fund. They recommended me to go into Project Finance Group in an Investment Bank. I want to know how should i prepare for that? Does it require similar preparation as general investment banking interview preparation? What companies should I pursue? or any other opportunities apart from Project Finance IB that I can explore. Any advice would be really helpful.
