Finally getting tired of partying

I don't know if I'm getting old or getting lame (about to turn 22), but I am just starting to get tired of going out. Which sucks because I feel like I am still in the phase where I should be enjoying it as much as possible. I sort of miss the days of freshman/sophomore year where it felt so edgy and cool to go to house parties and get messed up with buddies and hit on random chicks and play pong.

Maybe it's also who I'm around or the city I'm in. It seems like our plans for the our own futures have finally deviated and I can't relate as much to some of my buddies, I have my return offer lined up now so I'm waiting for that. Can anyone else relate?

Very normal for senior year. Luckily you're at a stage in your life where that is about to become less important to most people. Try to find some hobbies you can keep up with in banking while you have the time.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

You'll be fine. The deviations in plans happens to everyone. It's just life. And the going out will turn into just the office happy hours you want to attend (for fun or connections). Or your SO's happy hours/weekend events. Nothing wrong with maturing up like that. You obviously have your mind on your future life, so there you go, and keep going with that.

Give it some time, you may get back into going out, at least occasionally. It's a good shock to see that everyone at the houseparty is bringing something like Shiner instaead of Keystone again because you can afford it since you're doing better for instance. And don't worry about pong. Learn how to play bags.

I’ve been drinking and partying and clubbing since 14. I was done with partying by the time I went to college. Trust me brodie just work out, grind and focus on your own stuff it’s not a boring life I find more fulfillment from it 💯

Balance is key. You don't have to get blasted each time you go out. Also, as you age you'll realize certain things make next day. Here are some things I try to follow to survive the following day after a night out:

- drinking electrolytes before going to sleep

- not mixing alcohol

-eating something with bread so my body can use that as storage for the inevitable alcohol shits

- you'll encounter your own habits
