I am currently a hs senior and am looking to apply to target unis for Southern iBanks(specifically Florida). I wud really love to work over there one day. I had a few questions about high Finance in Florida cuz there is literally nothing online about Florida iBanking:
what are some target schools for Florida iBanking?(cudnt really find anything online.. except after surfing through linkedin.. it looks like UF, FSU AND USF are heavily represented)
Is it difficult getting a job in investment banking in Florida?
How likely would I be able to become an IB analyst in Florida?
What are private equity and hedge funds like in Florida?

UF is your best bet. Don’t think anyone that went to USF works in IBD.
Look into the 4-year MSF program at UF (you can see the student placements on the website), it places very well in IB
FIU for undergrad. Placed kids in banking all over the street straight from undergrad.
does somebody know if they sponsor for internships/SA positions?
Surprisingly I've seen some people from University of FLorida (usualyl they have a masters) place into IB in different banks.
