Former quant / MBA / ex-Meta: what are my options?

Hey there, first post here.

I'm new here. I was a quant researcher in the market making desk for 5 years. I used to develop synthetic products for stuff that weren't available in most over the counter markets for specific clients.

Got sick of that and did a top 10 MBA program, then landed a Meta job corporate finance, where I were for about 6 years. My main expertise is Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with some corporate strategy (go to market, new product expansion)

I was laid off and after I let my connections know, I'm getting pinged by banks. I have no clue what kind of job I could do there, and I definitely am not in my 20s to spend all night doing associate IB work (not to demeanor that, I just am not young anymore to crunch heavy excel sheets from 7am to 2am daily).

Anyway, any careers I could pursue? One thing that came to my mind is corporate finance in banks, but I don't know if I'd be able to get a similar compensation that I had before...

thoughts?
