Getting finance-related internship with non-related major

Hey chimps,
I am a high school senior, and I received admission and plan to attend Ross business school next fall semester. When I applied back in October I was interested in pursuing Sports Marketing, and believed it would give me a competitive edge in admissions as most of my experience lines up with the field. However after reading WSJ, WSO, and Axios Pro Rata over a course of months, I would much rather pursue finance for my career. However as a Ross preferred admit, I won't officially be a part of the school until my sophomore year, meaning a major change won't be feasible until the 2024 fall semester. But I would like to capitalize in my early years in college and want an internship preferably in the banking or consulting world. Does this seem far fetched or unlikely? If possible, what could I do to capitalize on my situation and give me a competitive edge?
