go to B-school purely for added prestige?
Currently working at MBB. At my MBB, almost everybody I work with all come from top ivies or top10 undergrad. This makes me feel pressured to pursue a HSW MBA, even though it brings no tangible advantage to me in terms of promotion. For context, I went to a great but not elite undergrad (NYU/USC/Michigan). I spoke to a few HSW MBB alum and believe I have a >50% chance of getting into one of them if I try hard.
Assuming I can get my MBA sponsored by my firm, is it worth it to go for a MBA just for me to feel better about myself?
