The value of HBS is entirely about the people (network). The best part is that it continues to compound over time.

Brand name/prestige might be a factor - particularly for those without a "blue chip" background (e.g. Ivy league undergrad, Goldman/McKinsey-tier first job, etc.). It was not a factor for me.

The education (curriculum) itself had minimal impact on my life, but some of the relationships I developed with professors did (which really goes back to the first point about the people)

 

Congrats. I know a lot of friends who went to HBS and were really happy with their time there and the impact on their careers.
