HBS completely changed the trajectory of my career/life. I also made some really great, meaningful friendships.
Was it the brand name prestige & network that changed your life? Or the education?
The value of HBS is entirely about the people (network). The best part is that it continues to compound over time.
Brand name/prestige might be a factor - particularly for those without a "blue chip" background (e.g. Ivy league undergrad, Goldman/McKinsey-tier first job, etc.). It was not a factor for me.
The education (curriculum) itself had minimal impact on my life, but some of the relationships I developed with professors did (which really goes back to the first point about the people)
