Got into UVA transfer
Just got off waitlist for UVA sophomore transfer, for record Im in McIntire and from another state school in the Midwest.
Does anyone who goes there have any advice on the culture or types of ppl there and also how make most of finance opportunities.
I know a lot of guys are from east coast boarding schools and not being from one, does it disadvantage me socially or professionally? I ideally also want to rush, so if anyone just has any input it would be much appreciated.
UVA offers a strong platform for finance opportunities, especially through McIntire, which is highly regarded for its placement in top banks and firms. Here's what you need to know:
Culture and Social Scene
Making the Most of Finance Opportunities
Social and Professional Integration
In summary, UVA provides a fantastic environment for finance-focused students, and McIntire is a significant asset. By immersing yourself in the culture, joining relevant clubs, and networking effectively, you'll position yourself well for success.
