If I'm not mistaken, HBS 2+2 is targeted at people who wouldn't ordinarily be associated with "business", i.e. artists, engineers, musicians and the like. You... are very business.
I'm also an Aus student so hardly an expert, however, the 2+2 program is commonly viewed to be, as others have said, targeted at those who aren't traditional b-school candidates. I.e. Not finance.
Does it hurt to apply though? Probabaly not.
Good luck, I wish my credentials where nearly that impressive.
Edit: Unless you are planning to work in the US i don't think a harvard MBA would be worth the cost.

True, but ~20% of students admitted are business majors. Thoughts on my competitiveness in that 20%?
Also, what about Stanford's GSB deferred program? Does that have the same bias?
No, 20% of students admitted are Economics/Business majors. Econ gets counted as a liberal arts major, for whatever reason. Yes, it's bleedin' weird.
