HBS 2+2 Chances

Hi guys - just wondering if you can help me out here. Wondering if it is worth it for me to apply to HBS 2+2 or whether I should focus on something else.

School: Target (HYPSMC) GPA: 3.7ish depending on how this semester goes Major: Computer Science (specific track in music technology) and Economics (double major) Additional summer coursework at Cambridge GMAT: 780

Work Experience: 1 Summer at pretty big name public relations firm doing digital media analysis in NYC 1 Summer with a big radio company (~3 bill annual revenue) doing data analysis/operations, in conjunction with a professor from my school (currently a junior so waiting to hear back on this year's internship)

Extracurricular Activities: President of college radio station (previously treasurer) - big responsibility here, pretty much like working full time. have to manage tons of money, in charge of putting on lots of events, end up managing two boards, lots of community service, meetings with representatives from labels, etc. Pretty massive leadership experience, approx 20 hours a week. President/Co-Founder of media company that puts on shows around the North-East and DJs events. Great pocket money, actually. Guitarist/Singer in band - have gotten tons of local and state-wide media attention and have made several CDs (couple funded by us, some through kickstarters). Opened for some national acts, some some competitions, gone on two mini-tours across the U.S.

Non music activities/leadership include holding a leadership position in a cultural society and working at my school's admissions office.

Aside from this, I'm male and not a URM, though I am still a minority. I'm interested in working at tech companies, specifically working in executive positions for places like Warner or Sony within the music dept. Let me know what you guys think

Just saw that you're a junior. Look at these two programs:

http://www.hbs.edu/svmp/

http://premba.som.yale.edu/

Snagging one of those this summer could give a slightly greater leg up if you decide to apply to 2+2. I did both, so if you have any questions feel free to reach out. I would say focus on SVMP though in the interim, since they only take rising seniors. You have a little more wiggle room with Yale's program.
