healthcare investment banking
I'm wondering those who work in health care investment banking possess any healthcare credentials. I know most people who got hired as analysts or associates either studied finance, engineering or has an MBA. If a doctor or nurse wants to work in healthcare investment banking, would their medical credential give them more leeway to get hired?
You see this more often on the buy side in early stage investing cause stuff gets technical quick. Lots of MDs and PHDs especially in biotech and life sciences.
what can I do with my recently earned JD?
I have seen several MDs and PhDs listed on buy-side websites, but I don't recall seeing nursing listed as a qualification.
