How do I win from my school? Older transfer from CC

Long story short a few years back I had a 0.41 GPA at community college. Now I managed to fight my way to get to college as a junior at 27, but school wise my options are slightly limited. I got a near full ride to George Washington in DC and am currently heading there in the spring (as a second semester sophomore which is perfect internship wise), but I also got in NYU Econ but at full price due to their terrible transfer aid.

Considering I’m going into the college environment slightly older, and with nothing but time to study, get a 4.0, do technicals, and network/get a breather from working garbage retail/hospitality (80 hours a week and full time to school to get ahead only a few months back), how would you maximize the chances of getting a job offer while in school, as well as any next steps post grad to get to VV or PE down the line. Also greatly considering an MBA after a few years somewhere as time wise that makes more sense culturally, yet I’d rather not pay for it.
