How early should I apply for ED of CBS?

All,

As far as I know, CBS ED round has a rolling basis system. Does anyone know by when an applicant should apply to fully take an advantage of a rolling basis system?

Given ED round's actual deadline in early October, are you guys thinking applying by Aug. is enough?

Thx.

Hey @Asian_Monkey Thanks for posting. If you are serious about CBS ED and have time to put together a strong application, the sooner you apply, the sooner you will find out where you stand. In my experience, candidates really focus on that October deadline and leave things to the last minute. I always recommend applying at least one week if not two weeks before then at the latest just to make sure you're not stuck in the big onslaught of apps. (Applying by August would be even better though.)

What's great about CBS ED is that they have historically committed to a six-week turnaround so even if you apply say August 1, you should know by mid-September where you stand.

Don't forget to network with current students and alumni. CBS cares about fit and especially if you are going to ED, you want to show that they are really your #1 choice.
