As a PE guy, you’re going to be in much better shape financially than pretty much anyone else in the MBA that isn’t (a) sponsored or (b) having the MBA paid for by family. For the sake of benchmarking:

Total Net Worth upon matriculation: (Think I was in the $300-350k range, excluding my unrealized carry + capital investments).

I decided just to pay cash for my MBA, but I also had a scholarship that reduced the cost by more than 50%, which made it very reasonable. Think I only paid something like $50k in tuition for two years.
