How strong is UVA? (McIntire)

Trying to get a gauge of placement and opportunity.
And long term prospects/exit opps.
(Assume I network, intern, join the clubs, learn the technicals and have the GPA)

Ridiculously strong. At my 3 Superdays, I kid you not half the interviewers went to UVA (and these three interviews spanned three cities). I go to a “better school ” that is a target but now I can confidently say UVA is a target for more banks and being non-diverse, gunning for places that actually save spots for you is much better than fighting tooth and nail to hunt down the non-core recruiter at places.

probably. Not from UVA. but I had superdays at HL RX, MOE, EVR, BX.. etc. I kid you not at least 1 kid was UVA in the waiting room. HL RX id say half the kids were UVA FWIW.
Idk what it is, they def have some secret sauce.
its cuz we optimize on the work hard play hard spectrum. we know our technicals and cases cold, and can also hold an engaging convo.
Where would you say the average kid who’s interested in banking places?

Only one from UVA last summer and I think only one this summer tho. Regardless, def worth the $75k — recruited heavily in RX from a target and remember always seeing UVA people there.
The group head at HLRX is an alum, so they always have 1-2 people (out of 9-11) going there.
