HS Senior Accepted to Target School Seeking Summer Internship: How Should I Prepare?
As the title says, I’ve gotten into a target school for IB and am looking to land an internship this summer. I’ve worked in sales roles at startups in the past, so I have some experience building relationships and closing deals. My goal is to get an internship at an IB firm or maybe a search fund (PE) this summer and use that as a springboard to land a BB/EB internship after my freshman year.
What should I focus on learning before I start cold emailing? Should I dive into accounting, finance, DCFs, LBOs, or something else? Also, any book or PDF recommendations would be great.
