I'm trying to get an idea what the summer associate (MBA) options are outside of NYC. Looking at MBA (class of 2027) to switch into IB from real estate finance. Ideally, will be at Fuqua/Darden/McCombs who have solid reps on WS but not wanting the NYC lifestyle for various reasons. I know McCombs places well with BB/EB in Houston but I'm also open to a BB/EB/MM in Charlotte/ATL or other east coast cities. Charlotte seems to have a solid IB scene from what I have gathered, just trying to figure out if you can request/interview for the groups in these cities or all the summer roles run through NYC.
