I'll enter NEOMA BS in September; help needed

hi monkies, Do you know if a master degree in financial analysis at NEOMA and a MS in a bigger BS or at LSE would give me chances to become an analysis in an investment bank in the US ? Have you ever heard about NEOMA ? Thanks

Neoma is not a target. To respond to your first question, no, there is no chance to break into U.S. IB in this situation. That's not inherent to the school though, american banks just prefer to hire people living in the U.S.

There's still London. French students getting an internship there nearly all come from top targets (HEC/ESSEC/ESCP) but work exp. can make up for it. I assume you'll spend either 2 or 3 years at Neoma. I'd suggest you try to get internships in private equity in Paris - lots of small firms which take interns, as the landscape is very different from UK/US PE. After that, apply to a IBD SA in London while applying for a UK target.

France has always been like that. IB in Switzerland & Benelux is dead btw

Because there's no economic activity, and thus no deals. Switzerland is mostly known for private banking, a.k.a rich people hiding sketchy funds, while Luxembourg is merely a tax haven.
