I like also the HEC MiM, but it's 2+1 years, the class is huge, staying in the french countryside to study business does not really excite me, and i wouldn't grow a lot of growth in terms of education due to my business background. Instead, the Polytechnique - HEC degree is way better in terms of content, salary post programme, entry selection, alumni network (you benefit from the network of the best engineering and commercial schools in France)

Did my mba at insead. We were the first to see the mims come through. It’s a very new programme, you won’t have enough data to say anything. What I will say is that the mims get to participate in our clubs. Honestly I was jealous that opportunity wasn’t available to me. A lot of well connected kids on their own.

be mindful, doesn’t cater well to finance careers due to recruiting cycles etc

I got offer from both Insead MiM and HEC MiM. It depends essentially on three factors: proficiency in French, interest in IB and previous experience.

HEC MiM is a long program of more than 2 years, so I would choose it if I loved studying and staying at uni (I do not particularly), if I had a strong interest in IB (in London or even better in Paris, there is no competition), and if I spoke french (you would be able to do everything in France, but you need the language). Also Insead MiM has little space for an internship and it's less suited if you had very limited experiences at no-name places and wanted to put big names on the cv.

The culture is far superior at Insead, you have a lot more international exposure while at HEC it's international vs French 50/50, plus Singapore. Also the class is smaller and you get to know everybody.

I chose Insead.
