Investment Banking vs. Investment Management Workshop
Need some advice: our son might end up going to Kelley undergrad. More of a math guy and is planning to major in Finance. See lot of threads here and CC that in order to make it to Banks ..one has to go through the workshops that Kelley does for the undergrads. There are two workshops - Investment Banking and Investment Management - can somebody here give us some advice on these programs --where they will lead him in terms of careers (at least at the outset). Thank you.
Hi kris1970, check out these links:
You're welcome.
Thank you!
If he's interested in banking, definitely do the investment banking workshop. Workshop placement is essentially 100% (50+ students per year). Good rep on the street also.
The investment banking workshop is the better of the two. Also harder to get into. Highly recommend shooting for the IB workshop, it makes a big difference in placement.
