Is an Accounting and Finance Degree Worth it?

I have an offer to study Accounting and Finance at KCL. I wanted to know: is it worth it? An Accounting and Finance degree seems quite ‘closed’ in the sense that it might not open that many doors for me, and is very specific. For example, I probably wouldn’t be able to go on to do a masters in Econ at Cambridge? I am not 100% sure what I wanna do after I graduate. However I know that I love Economics, finance and management. I may go into IB, maybe after a while try to gain a CFO Position etc.

Do you think this course is a good choice? Besides the fact that it is something I’d enjoy doing!

By the way, please refrain from telling me I’m immature and that I should just do what I like. I know it’s important to study something you truly like, but I want to make sure it’s the right choice from other aspects.

Thanks!
