Is it easier to lateral or recruit from a non-mba masters?
Exactly as the title states. FWIW, while I haven't even applied to any schools, I do have an offer from a decent shop but feel like I was only a few tweaks away from beating my MBB interviews this cycle. Would it be easier to break into MBB or T2 via lateraling or should I go for a 1-2 year masters and recruit from there? By easier, I'm referring to likelihood of success and how difficult it'll be to manage school vs work with recruiting.
