Is it impossible to break into High Finance without an Ivy League Degree?

I'm from New Zealand and have looked at the huge fees, plus I'm probably not bright enough to get in as I wasn't even close to being a dux at school.

To put the question frankly: Am I pissing into the wind? Are my dreams of a Finance career over?

Thanks in Advance!
