is it worth it to go to usa for a msf?

i do not see a point in going to the usa unless i get a job there or am from a school such as Princeton or MIT since those names carry a lot of weight.

i was wondering what do you think about a Canadian going to America for a masters degree? Will I run into work Visa probs and have to go back to Canada and be at a disadvantage for recruiting?

i looked at : vilinova, boston, wustl, vanderbilt, usc. they place well regionally but i do not think they would carry much weight in canada, and i do not know if they are strong enough schools to help me get a Visa

i would love to go the usa to get things like
-lower taxes, Amazon.com, lower cost of living minus new york

hi there, i am a high school student from Toronto and i know im into ib, do u think i should go to us for undergra?? im looking some undergra business schools

Imho, MSF is a bad choice for somebody who wants to move to the U.S. because most companies prefer hiring undergrads and MBAs. So, MSF grads even from good schools often go back home if they don't have a work permit. I think you should work in Canada for 3-5 years and then apply to Top-20 MBA. Then you will have a good chance of moving to the U.S. and having a solid job here.
