Is pursuing an MBA worth it?
Is there any point in getting an MBA if you get an undergrad degree from a T5 business school? I am asking this from pursuing a job in HF or PE. Would it be better to place into a top IB/PE/HF and climb the ranks or get recruited into the industry you want to get into? Are the connections you make in a top school worth the 100k/year price tag? I am asking this as an incoming first year, and I just want to plan out when to take the GMAT in case I choose to pursue an MBA. I don't think I will have time after college since I want to end up in IB.
