Is studying economics nowadays a disadvantage?
I know that subject doesn't really matter, but I keep on reading on this website that Investment Banks prefer STEM for mainly S&T, but other divisions like ER as well. Are STEM students preferred simply to enhance diversity? How are Economics graduates from Targets and Semi-Targets viewed by recruiters compared to STEM graduates from the same universities? Or is it just the case that the degrees of graduates from target universes do not matter?
