Ross has a better alumni network but as Guest1655 said you will get a diploma from U of Michigan. If you had a chance to pick go with Ross.

AFAIK the only major companies that recruit out of UM-Dearborn are Ford and Chrysler. Dearborn's MBA program is also only in the evening and online. Their MBA program is really meant for people looking to move up within their current company but need the credential to advance (lot's of Ford people, I'd imagine, it's 5 minutes away).

Also, the diplomas do say University of Michigan at the top, they do say UM-Dearborn on them, so not completely the same.

This. Gotta love the ignorant posters chiming in with false information.

It's almost universal that an "off" branch of major state school system isn't going to have the same exact diploma as the flagship school. How is that fair to people that pony up to pay for UM-AA vs. those that pay for UM-Dearborn?

I went to Dearborn, and although your diploma says U of M, it also says College of Business, Dearborn. So NOT the same at all. Recruiting is only for F500 and some Big4. the program is decent, but no where compared to Ross. Go Ross if you have the choice. DUH!
