Is Tuck behind any M7 in terms of prestige?

Tuck is usually ranked in top 10-15. Is it really far behind to not be a M7? I feel that excluding Harvard, Wharton and Stanford, Tuck is right up there with others?

Consulting placements are much better than a few M7s if we consider the batch size

It just doesn't really matter.

Tuck is a simply AMAZING school w/ a legendary alumni base that has been called the 'jedi force.' Tuck's consulting placement is super strong and every student / alum I've met (anecdotical) has nothing but amazing things to say about the program. Even if you don't want to do consulting, the alumni's base opens up a wide range of career possibilities. Beyond that, having a Tuck MBA means you have a guaranteed network for life that many other top MBA programs can't match.

Disclaimer: Didn't go to Tuck, but think you should be super happy about your acceptance there.

My brother went to GSB and I'm also prepping for MBA applications, but generally, I heard it's considered better than Kellogg (I think only recently though), CBS, Sloan, and Booth for MBB recruiting, with obvious disparities for IB/PE/HF/Marketing/Other Roles. That being said, I'm sure it has more prestige to the common man than Kellogg and Booth because of the Ivy League branding, if you're trying to impress girls on Tinder (as most don't know that Chicago and Northwestern are good schools).

Tuck is a great school and right outside M7 but still outside.  A lot of east coasters in particular make the case to go there over the Chicago schools.  I would still consider it right outside M7 because there aren't as many outrageously successful alumni, the location is a tough sell for 28 year olds, and its generally on the easier side to get into, butttttttttttt there is a super strong network, it seems like fun time if you're down to live in the woods for 2 years, and solid placement as mentioned make the place extremely attractive for those looking to immerse themselves in b-school for 2 years

Tuck is a great school. However it has an oddly high acceptance rate (~33%) for a school of its caliber and unlike other schools in this range (Ross, Darden) it has a very small class size. This is mostly function of its small applicant pool, but may explain why most people consider it just outside the top schools.

But keep in mind the applicant pool to top mba programs are already a heavily self-selected group (few people randomly fire off applications to these sorts of places), and this may be even more true for a small rural school like Tuck.

Do a little more research. All of this information out here on forums. Tuck places well into MBB, but the quality of overall student is not as good as a M7. Very few people will go to Tuck over a M7. I do not think your chances at MBB will be drastically different at Tuck vs. Booth vs. Sloan vs. Kellogg, but the quality of students, access to capital, and just general power within business is not comparable to a M7

This is spot on. Tuck's remote location makes it less desirable and therefore they don't win a ton of cross-admits from the M7 outside of people who are hardcore Tuck all the way. Tuck is aware of this and makes everyone visit campus as part of their application to weed people out (probably not anymore due to Covid). They do very well with cross-admits from the next tier (SOM, Stern, etc) and are in a 1A tier with Haas. Strong MBB recruiting for sure but lags behind the M7 a bit.
