Is withdrawing from a class worse then a class taking a hit to the GPA.
I am currently a freshman at a small private school in Texas looking to go into IB. I am taking Macro right now and just had a test I bombed. I was sitting at an A but it took me down to a B-, the highest possible grade I can get is a B+ which is reasonable but a stretch. Should I take the W and take a summer course? If I continue with the class I will end up with a 3.55-3.6 GPA but if I take the W I will likely end the semester in the mid 3.8s. Should I take the W or finish the course?
Feel like most banks won’t dig that deep into transcript and look at individual classes. Just look at blanket GPA. My bank didn’t even ask for transcript at all.
W, I took a B- and I was able to recover to a 3.85 but it took heart.
Take the W, banks don't care
W. Banks dont ask for transcripts until way after youre signed and thats just to verify that you didn't lie about your GPA/round obscenely

Bump is this true? How important are individual grades and W?
No one cares about a W. Emphasis is on cGPA.
