Ivey Msc?

I'm planning to do an MSc program after graduating with my Bachelor's degree from my European business school, since it's hard to find well-paid work with "just" a BSc in my country. I'm very interested in working in the US or Canada. Does anybody have information about the Ivey MSc in Management program? Not many information (especially about placement statistics) online right now. Do you think the degree can keep up with Master in Management programs at European business schools like LSE, LBS, St. Gallen or HEC?

Do Ivey MBA or Rotman MBA. If you are keen to do masters, look into Rotman's MFE I believe, it is pretty decent. Otherwise, I would stay away from Ivey MSc (not that it is not good, but there are better ones). I only know so much from my high school reExecu|Search about these schools though (Current Canadian in US schools), so take it with a grain of salt.

i would recommend ivey if you're interested in recruiting for banks MBA would be better than msc, but it overall depends on what you get

Since it will be really hard to find a good job with the BSc, I will definitely do an MSc. I'm just not sure about the best school for me. MBA without much work-experience doesn't make much sense. Since I would like to work in North-America, Ivey would probably offer a good chance to find work in Canada after graduation, right? I'm interested in consulting and also banking.

Although the Ivey name carries a lot of weight in the Canadian finance and consulting communities, this pedigree applies almost exclusively to the HBA program (and to a lesser extent the MBA program, although the program has arguably been in decline over the years). The Ivey Msc means very little (read: nothing) to recruiters.

The Msc kids go head-to-head with the HBA students during the fall recruitment season and 99% of the time the HBA kids will come out on top with regards to landing interviews and offers. In my years as an Ivey HBA student and as an analyst for an investment bank, I have never met an Msc kid during interviews nor has my firm ever interviewed a Msc candidate. Versus the HBA candidates, the MSc candidates are overwhelmingly weaker, less polished, and have suspect english proficiency (a lot of international students)

If you're looking to land an investment banking or consulting gig, I would look beyond the Ivey Msc program

I'd like to know just how Euro-centric a program like LBS's MiM is. I'm admitted for the class of 2015. While I'm not adamant about working in the states, I'd prefer it. Here, it seems like LBS is only recognized in some circles? If any current/former LBS/LSE/HEC/StGallen people who work in the US can chime in, that'd be great.

I'd probably prefer a MiM in Europe (esp. GB), because schools like LBS, Imperial or LSE probably have better MiM programs. But what's the chance of working in NA afterwards?
