Johns Hopkins Becoming a Semi-Target School?

My friend attends JHU and he's sent me their Hedge Fund/ Investment Team's placements for this year – although its not a lot of people, pretty much everyone is going to Tier 1 BB / EBshttps://www.instagram.com/jhusalant/ If you take a look at their instagram and scroll down a bit, you can see placements at MS, JPM, EVR, MOE, PJT and more. Also surprising to see that they have so many on-campus recruitment sessions.  Here's some more alumni data: https://jhusalant.com/new-page-1 I'm honestly pretty surprised that they place so well. Perhaps it's because college admissions are becoming more and more competitive so these kids who don't get into targets but are still smart just go to the most prestigious name school.
