Junior in High School worried about grades

I am a junior in high school with a 3.5 GPA, and I have a strong passion for the markets and a decent knowledge base. My main goal is to work at a hedge fund eventually, but I realize that the most sensible route is to go into IB first. From my observations, it’s becoming increasingly harder to get an offer or internship at a good IB without going to a very good college. I’ve been trying to make up for my poor grades by reaching out to local hedge funds trying to get internships, but this has led to nothing so far. What advice would you have for my situation?
