Dude wake forest is not even close to a semi target. It’s most likely a non target a quick LinkedIn search shows very few alum in nyc for high finance. I would just go to nc state and major in comp sci a lot better value for your money and similar placement.
If you're in NC, UNC is very transfer friendly
Wake Forest is a very good school. Good IB recruiting in the south and some BBs have good networks. I know there’s a decent network at Barclays. A step below the typical semi targets Duke/UNC/UVA etc but definitely not impossible to break in.
