Late applications - Master's - Fall 2025

I recently decided to pursue a Master's degree and would like to start the program as soon as possible (Fall 2025). Applications for most schools are still open, but they are currently in the later rounds. Is it harder to get accepted when applying in later rounds? I heard from an application coach that it isn’t. In fact, the coach mentioned that it might even be an advantage (disregarding scholarships), as seats are divided evenly across rounds, and the number of applicants decreases significantly in the later rounds (resulting in less competition). Does this hold true?
