LBS MFA or HEC MiM GE (with MIF in the third year)

Hi! I have a little champagne problem here.

I was recently admitted to both programs and offered a women's merit scholarship for both of them (almost of the same value). My goal is to secure an IB position after graduation in London if LBS or Paris if HEC, and to remain in Europe.

I come from South America and have done a couple of internships in my home country at top tier local companies. I have an intermediate level of French, but since Spanish is my mother tongue it shouldn't take long once I get to live in France to speak French fluently. The reason why I chose the MiM and not the MIF is that I'll have more time to fully learn the language

MFA at LBS: 1-year program. I get a 2-year visa after to look for a job

MiM at HEC: MiM one year + gap year for internships + MIF third year. I get a 1-year visa after to look for a job

In terms of job opportunities, school brand, networking, career service, and placement etc...which school should I chose in order to maximize my career chances?

LBS

Both are great programs, but the reality is, if you're not a native French speaker its going to be hard to land a job in Paris after HEC. I get the whole 'grew up speaking Spanish...' idea & you can ramp quickly in French...but the reality is you aren't native and it's hard enough to become fluent while doing everything else to land a great job.

Getting ahead in finance is hard enough,  you want to make it easier for yourself. LBS is the simpler choice to get ahead.

Good luck!
