LBS MiM vs INSEAD MiM for Management Consulting in France

Hi everyone,

Having received offers for both LBS MiM and INSEAD MiM, I am having a hard time deciding between the two programmes.

I want to study a Master in Management as a stepping stone toward a career in Management Consulting. Post MiM, I want to land a graduate job at MBBs in Paris. Which programme do you think is the best to achieve my career goals?

I am tempted to think that INSEAD will place better in Management Consulting, especially in Paris. However, I am wondering whether MBBs will actually recruit students from the Master in Management, which is a brand new programme at INSEAD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty inaccurate. Firstly, INSEAD is recognised as a [Grande Ecole](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandes_%C3%A9coles#Business_schools_(gra…) and secondly, you don't need to go to HEC to land MBB jobs in Paris. You can confirm this from a quick LinkedIn search - I found people in my network that went to Yale, ESCP and Sciences Po that ended up at all the MBBs. I think your comment is a bit misleading.

@jujudu40" Both schools are very well known in European consulting circles and both have a large number of French kids studying there that intend to return to work in France. I would dare say INSEAD simply because of the direct link to France. You can check out where people ended up on LinkedIn. Another thing I always say, there are great consulting firms outside of MBBs. Having those as your target is great and I hope you get them, but both business schools can easily land you at top firms like LEK, RB, ATK and OW all of which have Paris offices.
