Looking for some guidance, looking to solidify a career path

Hi guys,

I'm in bit of a tough time in my life right now. Currently, I'm a 1L in law school and to say that I'm having a difficult time would be an understatement. Since I committed to this school, it has dropped drastically in the rankings, and from my struggles in keeping up with the material, I've realized that law school may not be for me.

I graduated from a top public university in California, from where I graduated with a degree in Economics. In addition to my economics coursework, I've taken intro to financial accounting, cost accounting, and business law, and I am looking to take Intermediate Accounting 1 & 2 from an extension program, as I am aiming to satisfy the prerequisites for an MAcc. I really enjoyed my accounting classes I've taken so far, and my goal is to become a CPA.

Due to my struggles in law school, I've had to endure lots of disappointment from my parents and I've suffered a severe loss of self confidence. I am wondering if someone could chime in on whether it is worth it for me to finish the last 2 years of law school or to drop out and start preparing for the GMAT for admission into MAcc. My original plan was to become a JD + CPA, but now this is in doubt. This is the biggest decision I've been faced with in my life, and I've lost the support of my parents. I humbly appreciate all input from you all.

Thanks
