LSE Part-time MSc Finance

hi everyone, how is the LSE part-time msc finance perceived? the course seems to have a lower entry requirement as compared to its full time MSc finance course. does attending the part-time lse course help students break into ib? Thanks. realised that there is not much information on the msc part time course on the internet

My guess is that you would already need a fairly relevant job to get a place on the part time programme. I dont think it is for students who have no job/ irrelevant job and are trying to get a place solely for the fact that it is less competitive than the full time course.

I actually know someone who was in a civil engineering role that did the part time Msc. They eventually went on to finance and economics consulting though so not exactly what OP or others who may come across this post are looking for. Regardless, I don't think you need to have relevant experience so long as you have a good story for why you want to join the program
