match schools?
I'm really interested in Real Estate and have been advised to get a job with a brokerage place such as Cushman Wakefield or Jones Lang La Salle out of college. I will be a senior this year.
eventually, I would like to transition over to the development/acquisition/investment/ownership side of Real Estate, and think getting an MBA would be the logical progression.
What MBA programs would be a good match for me coming out of a brokerage firm? I know that a lot of top programs prefer to hire IBanking/McKinsey consultant types, so I have no idea what my prospects would be for a top 10 MBA program. Here is my hypothetical profile (hypothetical in the sense that I still have to finish my senior year, etc.)
GPA: 3.8+ at a top 25 USNW university (closer to 25 than 15)
GMAT: averaging about a 700 on practice tests
Work Experience: assume 3-5 years at a place like Cushman Wakefield
Major in History with a minor in Business (financial accounting, calc II,statistics; and corporate financial mgmt)
